How to play & why

What is the lottery for?
All profits from the lottery go to support youth & amateur sports throughout the UK. Clubs and Organisations can apply for funding by writing to us at our address on the contact page

Does The Sports Lottery have a Privacy Policy?
Our Privacy Policy can be found by clicking here.

How does the lottery work?
A Random Number Selection Computer Programme is now used and is Gambling Commission compliant. Each weekly draw is also independently witnessed and is conducted in accordance with Gambling Commission rules and regulation on the conduct of small lotteries.

Results of the draw are published on the Sports Lottery Web Site and www.sports2win.co.uk . Unlike the National Lottery, there is no requirement to claim prizes; this is completed automatically on your behalf. You must ensure that your address is correct; failure to do so may delay your winning payment.

How do I play?
Playing is easy. You can play online, using a debit or credit card. If you haven't already registered, just go to the sign up and play today page and follow the instructions. If you are already registered, then go to the members login page and enter your username and password which gets you into your personal Lottery area.

I'm outside the UK, can I play?
Regulations forbid us to allow players from certain countries to take part in our lottery games. Players must therefore meet the following criteria:
1. The player must be a UK resident
2. The player must have a valid UK postal address
3. The player must be using an internet connection from a UK supplier
We have sophisticated tools that check players comply with the above requirements. Failure to comply could result in account suspension.

How much does it cost?
Each ticket costs £1.

How will I know if I have won?
You will receive a winning notification email. You must sign in to your account to view your winnings.

Winners will be notified immediately, there’s no need to claim. The draw takes place monthy. Last entry for that Month's draw is 12:00 (midday) on the day of the draw.

Winning numbers will be published on this site or you can call the lottery helpline on 0845 527 5341 (9.30 – 5.00 weekdays) or email: contact"at"sportslottery.com.

Winning Combination Odds Share of prize fund (%)
Match 5 of the 5 drawn 1 in 1,906,884.00 50
